Lot has been projected regarding the advantages and disadvantages of social bookmarking,by people
who use them regulary. Stumble Upon is however found to bring immense traffic for the blog for several users.The number of hits in a blog increases tremendously once you bookmark through stumble upon.Here in the posting "Is Stumbleupon Effective for bloggers?" in this location bloggeries.com/forum/social-media/12009-stumbleupon-effective-bloggers.html several interesting replies were found.

"The other day I was curious to see what would happen if I stumbled my own blog. A useful warning by the member Blendetta regarding bookmarking your own posts:
"Be careful about stumbling your own posts. One of the drawbacks of stumbleupon is that once the same user has submitted links to the same site too many times (I believe it's 15, but I could be wrong), it will ban that site for awhile. So, no matter how many people stumble it, the link won't be sent out. Just FYI -- a lot of people have learned that the hard way."
